The GFW (Great Fire Wall) of China have not only blocked the Google and the websites that may cause problems with the society of the Chinese people, but also have blocked the most widely used website, video host, social sites and application. YouTube is also one such application which is not employed in China. Not on the browser and the not on the phone application, you cannot use YouTube with the help of the Chinese servers. YouTube is one of those social media applications that were considered harmful during the 2009 riots in the China. The road to success in China for the Netflix will never be easy as the Chinese government will never permit nudity, sex and violence in the content that will be shown to the people via the creation Netflix. It was not the Chinese government but the Netflix authority itself that haven’t launched the service in China. The stated reason was that there are many complexities in getting the permission to show the multimedia content to the Chinese people. The censor board is quite strict and will not pass any content that might hurt of spoil the minds of the Chinese people. However, even now in China the Netflix have failed to get the authority. Although the first series of Netflix got an incredible response from the Chinese audience yet the government felt it not right. This is the reason, the Netflix is still surveying about the content that should be shown to the Chinese public, and the government is still strict toward the censorship on the viewable content.
